January
Diamonds & Spurs - Rotary Club formal dinner/dance where a different jewel is raffled off each year.

February
Kiwanis Play - Hilarious -- and slighly off-color -- spoof of local, state and national political events. Tickets generally go on sale in January and sell out fast.

April

KRAI Spring Expo -Jump into spring by seeing what's new and hot in lawn and garden equipment and landscaping supplies.

 
9/Health Fair - Sponsored by the Craig Lions Club, the annual health fair is the perfect opportunity for low-cost medical screenings.
 
The annual YoungLife dinner/silent-auction.
 
Children's Festival at the Centennial Mall. Games, activities and information for young children.

May
Grand Olde West Days - a weekend of events held annually on Memorial Day weekend. Features a carnival, bull riding, music and much, much more.

June
TW legislative golf tournament - Mingle with corporate executives and state legislators on the greens.
 
Whittle the Wood -- Chainsaw carvers spend five days turning trees into masterpieces. The event culminates with a festival and free concert at City Park.

July
Ride-N-Tie Rodeo - Cowboy up at the Moffat County Fairgrounds.

August
Moffat County Fair - Horse show, livestock show and a display of creativity of skill all in one event-filled week.

September
Golden Leaf Festival - Celebrate fall properly with
a street fair in historic downtown Craig.

October
Crabfest - Join the Craig Chamber of Commerce for a crab dinner followed by a comedy show.

November
Parade of Lights - Sponsored by the Craig Lions Club, the parade of lights begins at dark on the Saturday following Thanksgiving.

December
Cowboy Christmas - A Boys & Girls Club dinner followed by entertainment is held the first Saturday of December..

Open bowling:
10 a.m.-5 p.m.: Thursdays
10 a.m.-midnight: Fri.- Sat. 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.: Sunday at Thunder Rolls Bowling Center. Glow-in-the-dark bowling from 9:30 p.m. to midnight every Saturday at the newest lanes in Northwest Colorado.


Open swimming: The Mark Anthony Evans-Lawton Post 62 Legion opens its indoor pool for public swimming from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Bingo: The Craig Elks Lodge sponsors bingo each Friday night. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. and bingo begins at 6 p.m.

Moffat County is issuing vouchers good for one free day of dumping at the landfill. The vouchers may be used any time between May and August. Call 824-5517 for more information.

Trapper Health Club in Craig is offering an evening hiking class starting at 5:30 p.m. twice a week. There are also some Saturday hikes scheduled. Call 824-6932 for more information.
